June 2019 - August 2019
Following my freshman year at Seattle University I interned at the University of Southern California (USC) as a research intern. At USC I worked at the Center of Additive Manufacturing (CAM) under Dr. Yong Chen with the guidance of Dr. Huachao Mao and Dr. Jack Jin.
My research focused around developing novel techniques for Stereolithography 3D printing (SLA). My main task was to conduct test prints on the custom SLA 3D printers and record the output of the tests. This included examining the resulting model and adjusting the parameters on the MATLAB code to enhance the quality of future prints.
